Fatal Car Accident In Braham

An Andover man was killed last Thursday when he drove through a stop sign in Braham and was broadsided on Highway 65 at Highway 107.

The Minnesota State Patrol reports that 24-year old Joshua Breen was driving a Chevrolet Lumina westbound just after 5:30 p.m. when he drove his car through the stop sign at Hwy. 107 and was broadsided on Hwy. 65 by an SUV driven by a 39-year-old Mark Stansberry of East Bethel. Stansberry and several other passengers in his vehicle were unharmed.

Breen was wearing his seat belt, but died a day later on Christmas Eve due to injuries he suffered in the collision. A 21-year old Cambridge woman, Megan Labeau, was a passenger in Breen’s car, and she received minor injuries.

Everyone involved with the crash was wearing a seat belt, according to the State Patrol.
