If you loved Pine City High School’s production of “Guys and Dolls,” be sure to mark your calendar for Saturday, January 8, when PCHS musical theatre students will present selections from Broadway’s best musicals in a one-night-only musical revue, “All That Jazz.” Not only will you be entertained by classic showtunes performed by Pine City’s finest band and choir students, the entire performance is free of charge.

The evening of song will feature students in the high school’s popular
Musical Theatre course, which is instructed by music teacher and theatre director Brad Mariska. The 23 students in the class will perform a variety of solos, duets, and small group numbers from classic musicals like “Show Boat” and “Oklahoma,” as well as more contemporary favorites from musicals such as “Rent” and “The Last Five Years.” The performance will also feature the talents of the highly respected Jazz One, which is preparing a variety of jazzy Broadway classics.

This one-night-only performance takes place in the Pine City Elementary Auditorium on Saturday, January 8 at 7pm. Admission is free and the event is appropriate for all ages.
