The Vikings will honor Mahnomen County Sheriff’s Deputy Chris Dewey, who died in August, more than a year after being shot on the job.

The Assoicated Press reports that the Minnesota Law Enforcement Memorial Association will present a flag to Dewey’s family before the National Anthem at the start of the game.

One man is charged in Dewey’s murder, and another has already pleaded guilty.
