Missing Hunter Found In Good Condition

A hunter has been found safe on an island in Lake Vermilion in northern Minnesota, after finding shelter in a shed and burning candles to stay warm.

The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office reports the 46-year-old man was found early Sunday.

The Duluth News Tribune reports the hunter had not been seen or heard from since around 4 p.m. Saturday. Searchers found the man in good shape on Ely Island North around 1:10 a.m.
