Man Arrested In Kanabec County On Drug Charges

On November 3, John Robert Lanphear (22) was arrested when a Kanabec County Deputy found a large amount of marijuana in his car after a traffic stop.  In a press release from the Sheriff’s office said that Lanphear had been pulled over for driving erratically.

The Kanabec County Sheriff’s Office and the North Central Drug Task Force believe Lanphear is connected to the distribution of controlled substances to Mora High School Students.

Lanphear was arraigned on charges of possession of a controlled substance, driving after revocation, possession in a motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia.
