Travel Back In Time At The Kanabec County History Center
If you have always been interested in history, then the Kanabec County History Center is the place to be. On Sunday November 7 at 3, you’ll get a chance to meet Abraham Lincoln.
Speaker Dale Blanshan will be in character as he describes what led to the Battle of Gettysburg. Blanshan will have photographs and documents from that time period. He will also be talking about the battle itself and it’s significance as a turning point in the Civil War.
Kanabec County History Center is partnering with the East Central Regional Library and the Mora Public Library to put this program together. This is the first of six programs that they will be presenting.
