School Superintendent Killed In Head-On Crash

The State Patrol reports a northern Minnesota school superintendent was killed in a head-on collision with a semi truck near Walker, Minn on Sunday, Oct. 17.

WCCO of Minneapolis reports the crash happened at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon along Highway 34 near the 98 milepost.

The State Patrol reported 66-year-old Diane Lehse, of Menaga, Minn., was killed when her car struck the semi.

According to district officials, Lehse was the superintendent for the Cass Lake-Bena School District.

The driver and passenger of the semi were not seriously injured.
