Cold Weather Rule Now In Effect

Minnesota’s “Cold Weather Rule” took effect on Friday, Oct 15. The rule protects residential utility customers from having their heat shut off in the winter months. To qualify, consumers must contact their utility company to set up a payment plan. There are also state funds available to help people in this predicament. To find out if you qualify, click here.
