Loading ...Man Dies in St. Croix County Crash
A 38-year-old man is dead after being ejected from his vehicle in St. Croix County.
The St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office said they responded to the crash around 6:41 p.m. Saturday, just east of 80th Street in the Town of Star Prairie.
Police say Tony S. Bushinger, of Somerset, WI was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban on 205th Avenue when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the ditch. The suburban rolled and Bushinger was ejected from the vehicle.
When the vehicle finally came to rest in the ditch on its roof, Bushinger was partially underneath the suburban. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police told WCCO of Minneapolis that Bushinger was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The crash is still under investigation by the St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office.
