Drug Sniffing Dog Goes Missing
A drug-sniffing dog belonging to the Anoka County Sheriff’s office is missing.
Sometime between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Thursday, the black Labrador Sherman went missing in the area of West River Road in Champlin.
The dog is 4 years old, weighs 75 pounds and was wearing a choke chain-style collar.
Police told WCCO he is friendly and safe to approach.
There’s an identification chip implanted in Sherman. So if you see him, call police or your local shelter right away.
