Loading ...Life Sentence Upheld For Pine City Woman and Brother
The Minnesota Supereme Court has upheld the life prison sentence of Jamie Larson of Pine City and her brother, Robert Larson of Parkers Prairie.
The two were convicted of killing Thomas Cady Jr. back in November of 2003.
In separate decisions on Thursday, Sept. 2, Minnesota’s highest court said evidence presented during each Larson trial was sufficient to convict them regardless of any errors.
WCCO reports that the Larson’s and Cody attended a Thanksgiving party in 2003, and witnesses said the Larson’s talked about killing Cady, whom Jamie said had hit her. Authorities said the pair strangled the man and dumped his body in a ditch.
It’s believed Cady and Jamie Larson were dating at the time.
