Man Shot at Andover Party
Coon Rapids Police are searching for a suspect involved in an early morning shooting that sent one man to the hospital Sunday, Aug. 29.
Police say the shooting happened at a house party that involved underage drinking in the 18,000 block of Tamarack Street NW in Andover around 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
Police told KSTP of Minneapolis that a suspect fired a round over an apparent dispute, hitting a 17-year-old man in the upper leg. The man was taken to Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids with non-life threatening injuries.
Investigators say between 40 and 50 people were at the party at the time of the shooting, but Police have not made any arrests and are still interviewing witnesses.
