Mark Robert Anderson (40) of Ogilvie was killed Saturday evening when he and friends were constructing a tower in Wyanett Township. Anderson was pronounced dead of injuries he received in a fall.

The Isanti-Chisago County Star is reporting that Anderson was using a Lull Telehandler with the boom fully extended, and it tipped over. Also known as extendable reach forklifts, telehandlers help in tasks that require lifting heavier materials and reaching five or six stories high.

The paper reports Anderson was in the boom when the unit tipped over. He was transported to Cambridge Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

The incident is under investigation by the Isanti County Sheriff’s Office and OSHA.
