Man, Pregnant Woman, and Small Child Found Dead in Superior
Superior police say the deaths of a man, a pregnant woman and a 13-month-old girl are likely the result of a homicide and suicide in Superior, WI.
Police Capt. Chad Lor told the Associated Press that a weapon was found at the scene of the crime on Wednesday Aug. 18. Apparently, all three bodies were found in the same area of the house.
A a friend of the 26-year-old woman told the AP that the woman was expecting her child “any day,” and had recently taken a job as an assistant cheerleading coach at Duluth East High School.
Other reports have also indicated that the 23-year-old man served in the 121st Field Artillery, based in Milwaukee, and was a combat engineer with the 724th Engineer Battalion in Superior.
The Duluth News Tribune reported that a male friend of couple had visited the family Monday and nothing seemed to be out of line.
