Princeton man arrested for DUI, Children in car

The Wisconsin State Patrol is reporting that a 50-year-old Princeton, MN man was arrested in Burnett County Sunday evening on suspicion of DUI.

Authorities told reporters that they pulled the man over on Hwy. 70 near Siren at approximately 8 p.m. for speeding. A State Trooper says testing revealed the man was operating a motor vehicle under the influence of an intoxicant, and was doing so with two children under the age of 16 in the car.

Officials say the man was transported to the Burnett County Jail for a chemical test.

The 2 children were released to a responsible party.
