Rush City Residents Working Hard To Clean Up Thunderstorm Damage
Strong winds and heavy rainfall pushed through East Central Minnesota and Northwestern Wisconsin Tuesday night, leaving several Rush City residents with uprooted trees and broken branches. Last night, a severe thunderstorm warning was issued until 7pm, while a tornado watch was issued until 11pm. Although no twisters were spotted, winds in some areas reached 71 miles per hour. The hardest hit area left damaged buildings, knocked-down powerlines and trees near Balsam Lake, Wisconsin.
