Tammy Otis annd Mayor Jane Robbins Stop by the Studio to Talk About Public Library Fundraiser

Pine City Library Fund raiser is coming up on Saturday July 17th. All the money raised is going towards the new public library that the community is trying to raise for a new location for the library

The event will feature a street dance from 6-9pm at the Pine City VFW, the music selection is from the 40’s era and up. The grill will be brought out to cook up some hot dogs and hamburgers, plus there will be chips, pop and water available.

Part of the fundraiser will include a silent auction. Some of the items included in the auction are golfing for 2 at the Grand Casino Hinckley and also a dinner for 2 at the casino.

Currently the total money raised is at $352,000. The goal is a total of $400,000. The goal is to have all the money raised by October 31st, but they hope to have the money raised by August 31st.

If you have anything you would like to donate to the silent auction you can drop of items at the Minnesota Credit Union or at the Public Library itself. Cash donations are welcomed to.

So make sure you bring out the whole family and help bring a new location for the pine city public library, Saturday July 17th from 6-9pm at the Pine City VFW.
