The Kanabec-Isanti County Farm Bureau invites you to attend a “Farmer’s Share” Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, June 19 from 7:00 to 10:00 am at the Thoeny Farms near Ogilvie. The cost is the “farmer’s share,” what a farmer receives for a pancake breakfast or 65¢ per person.

The Thoeny Farm is on Hwy 47, 5 miles south of Ogilvie or 8 miles north of Dalbo, 1196 Hwy 47, Ogilvie. Signs will be posted. Call 320-272-4572 for more information.

Come for a breakfast of pancakes, pork sausage, juice, milk and coffee, stay for fun activities to learn about modern farming. Learn about animal agriculture in east central Minnesota: the economic importance, what we raise, how farmers contribute to businesses and the agricultural economy of our area. Displays, exhibits, resource people and information will be available. The morning includes a petting zoo, activities for kids, the Farm Bureau Safety Trailer and more.

The Farmer Share Breakfast is catered by Chris Cakes of Iowa. Come and watch the famous “flippers” flip your breakfast.

Studio One Portraits is offering a “breakfast special.” Have your kids’ pictures (or yours!) taken with a calf. Get a 5 x 7 picture for $5.

Products including milk and butter are donated by local businesses and agriculture commodity groups. Sponsors include East Central Pork Producers, Kanabec American Dairy Association, Minnesota Soybean Association, Minnesota Farm Bureau, and more.

This program is sponsored by the Kanabec-Isanti County Farm Bureau, part of Minnesota Farm Bureau. For over 90 years, the Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation has been working to preserve, promote and strengthen American agriculture.
