JoeWolf1Pine City High School student Joe Wolf is among the best artist in the state. Wolf recently received second place in the Congressional Arts Competition in the 8th District. His work will be displayed in Congressman Jim Oberstar’s offices in North Branch, Chisholm and Duluth.

“The Congressional Art Competition is a celebration of the talent and creativity of young people across the nation,” said Oberstar.  “I also believe that the competition provides a venue in which these talented students can bring a work of art through the entire process from conceptualization to production to a juried showing, giving every student a good experience as an artist.”

The winner of this years’ competition is Jordan Gorman of Eveleth.
