Picture 714Since 1982, Pine City elementary and high school teachers have given scholarship money to graduating seniors.  The money is raised through contributions from each teacher in the district and proceeds from a variety show.

Over the year, $39,200 has been given out to Pine City seniors.  The teachers, members of the Pine City Education Association, with help from administration, hope to continue giving out their scholarships by staging an upbeat, hilarious variety show to raise the necessary money.

The 20th annual Blackboard Review will feature songs and skits performed by district staff.

The show will be held on Saturday, May 15 in the elementary auditorium.  show times are 4:30 and 8:00 pm.  Tickets are $5 and all proceeds will go directly to the scholarship fund.  Tickets can be bought at the door, in the elementary and high school office or from any faculty member.
