The City of Cambridge is inviting the community and public to an informational meeting on Monday, April 26, at 10 a.m. at Cambridge City Hall – Council Chambers, to learn more about this season’s road projects and alternative routes that will be available for use while the work is being completed.

Intermittent lane closures , shifts, and a short term detour will begin Monday on Highway 95 between Davis Street and Isanti County Highway 2 when a resurfacing project begins.

In mid-May,  the project will require a 21 day detour to allow turn lane and muck excavation at Isanti County Highway 2 on the east limits of the project. Motorists will follow a signed detour via Stark Road and Cedar Crest Trail.

Knife River Corporation of Sauk Rapids is the prime contractor for this $3.6 million road and accessibility improvement project. The project is scheduled to be completed by early August, weather permitting.
