Accused Murderer Set for Court Appearance
The man accused of first degree murder in a November killing in Luck, WI is due in court on Thursday. Wayne Rouillard, 62, will appear in Polk County court for a pair of motion hearings, one of which is a motion to disclose the contents of a pre-sentence investigation. Rouillard is charged with murdering 61-year-old Stephen Dahlstrom of Bogota, Columbia in a garage at a Luck residence.
The criminal complaint states Rouillard used a claw hammer, a knife and a wood-splitting maul to attack Dahlstrom, who police says was his friend. Dahlstrom suffered severe blunt force trauma and at least one fatal stab wound.
Rouillard pleaded not guilty to the charges in December.
