Sperr Found “Not Guilty” in Kidnapping-Assault Case
A Chisago County jury found Shane Sperr, 27, not guilty of all four charges related to a December kidnapping and assault case in Chisago County.
Sperr was acquitted of charges of first degree assault, kidnapping, terroristic threats, and false imprisonment.
It was alleged that Sperr participated in an assault of Shawn Dougherty, 25. Cases for two other men charged in the case are pending.
Bradley Anthony Dusenka, 50, and Marcus Lee Clay, 43, are charged with three counts for the alleged beating. Both men are charged with second degree assault, kidnapping and terroristic threats.
In the criminal complaint, Dougherty tells police Bradley Dusenka and Clay beat him because they accused him of stealing money from his grandfather.
