Johnathon Cody Thomas Set for Court Appearance

JohnathonCodyThomasJohnathon Cody Thomas, 20, is scheduled to appear in Pine County Court on Tuesday for pre-trial motions.  Thomas is one of three men charged in the November beating of Hinckley driving instructor Dwaine Palmer.

Thomas is charged with Aiding/Abetting Assault in the first, second and third degree. If convicted, he could spend a maximum 62-years in prison and pay over $100,000 in fines.

It’s alleged that, Thomas and two other men -Olaf Thomas and Aaron Lagarde – attacked Palmer, 64, while he was walking his dog, Sweetie, the morning of November 29th. The attack left Palmer with a broken nose, jaw, eye sockets, and cracked ribs.

Bail for Thomas is set at $500,000.  According to the Pine County Jail roster on Monday, Thomas remains in custody.

    I hope he gets convicted and sentenced to the maximum penalty… keep him in prison til he’s 82 and maybe he won’t be able to father children that will just turn out like him anyway.
