Johnathon Cody Thomas Set for Court Appearance
Johnathon Cody Thomas, 20, is scheduled to appear in Pine County Court on Tuesday for pre-trial motions. Thomas is one of three men charged in the November beating of Hinckley driving instructor Dwaine Palmer.
Thomas is charged with Aiding/Abetting Assault in the first, second and third degree. If convicted, he could spend a maximum 62-years in prison and pay over $100,000 in fines.
It’s alleged that, Thomas and two other men -Olaf Thomas and Aaron Lagarde – attacked Palmer, 64, while he was walking his dog, Sweetie, the morning of November 29th. The attack left Palmer with a broken nose, jaw, eye sockets, and cracked ribs.
Bail for Thomas is set at $500,000. According to the Pine County Jail roster on Monday, Thomas remains in custody.
