Pine County Sheriff’s Office Awarded $2K for Child Defibrillators
The Pine County Sheriff’s Office has been awarded a grant from the Greater Pine Area Endowment for Project Heartstart for Kids in the amount of $ 2,001.44. This grant enabled the Sheriff’s Office to obtain child/infant keys to use in the current Phillips FRX defibrillators.
Pine County Deputies are now able to provide cardiac emergency services with their defibrillators to infants and children under 55 pounds.
