Bombers Run Ends in Final Four

The Braham Bombers were the Cinderella story of the Class AA tournament, advancing to the state final four.  Unfortunately, the story didn’t end as they hoped.  The Bombers were beaten by eventual State Champ New London-Spicer on Friday at the Target Center and then on Saturday in the third place game by Plainview-Elgin-Millville.

Coach Bob Vaughan says, even with the weekend losses, his team should be proud of what they accomplished.

The Bombers will have a good chance to make a return trip next year, with their top two scorers (Tyler Vaughan and Ben Thiry) returning. But for the four seniors who played their final game, coach Vaughan says its been a pleasure

Thiry and Vaughan were both named to the All-Tournament team.
