Loading ...Walkers for Knockers: Raising Money for the Fight Against Cancer
This weekend in Pine City the two day event, Walkers for Knockers, is taking place to raise more for The Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure 60-mile walk. Pizza Pub owner Rick Herzog’s daughter, Amanda, is participating in the walk in this summer, but first her and her team are coming together to raise money and awareness for the fight against cancer.

The Pizza Pub is donating $3 for every large pizza, t-shirt and hat sales, as well as tips.

You really should go and watch the event, cheer the walkers and support those battling cancer. The name is completely in keeping with the event. These women are, in fact, walking for knockers!

I have walked for cancer, including breast cancer, I still feel it is a crude title for a very emotional event.
