Festivities will include the 32nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade at 2 pm on Main Street.  The St. Paul Winter Carnival Royalty and the Vulcans will be featured as well as local businss and community floats.  Music, meal specials, drawings and prizes will follow at the Pour House, Little Mexico, Tom’s Bar, and Kris’ Pheasant Inn.

This year Siren will also include a Tribute to Hockey.  The Wisconsin State Hockey Peewee 3B Tournament will be held at The Lodge Center Arena in Siren on Saturday and Sunday.  The Village will also have a show of support for our own Siren native, Molly Engstrom, now a two time Olympic medal winner!

New for 2010 is an Antique & Vintage Snowmobile Show from 11 am – 2 pm.  Show location will be either Main Street or Crooked Lake, depending on weather.  Best of Show will be awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place by popular choice; judging will take place at 1 pm.  All are invited to bring their sleds and enter to win!

Also new for 2010 is ‘Kites on Ice.’  The Minnesota Kite Society, Ken Wilkowski – President, will be bringing their big, beautiful, billowing kites to display and fly high over Crooked Lake for all to see!  The show will take place from 11 am – 2 pm; the Siren School grounds is the back-up location if ice conditions are unfavorable.  Everyone is welcome to come and watch, but also to participate by bringing your own kites and flying them with the Kite Society.  On a bright, blue sky winter’s day, this will make for quite the sight!!

Siren’s festivities are sponsored by the Siren Chamber of Commerce.  Please call 715-349-8399 or visit for more information.
