MN House Approves Bonding Bill

The Minnesota House of Representatives passed a $1.1 billion bonding bill on Monday by a vote of 92-37.

Representative Tim Faust (DFL-Hinckley) says he is pleased to pass the bill early in the session and talks about several local projects included in the bill.

House Minority Leader Kurt Zellers (R- Maple Grove) was less impressed by the work of his colleagues.

Representative Jeremy Kalin (DFL-North Branch) believes the passing of the bonding bill is the start to Minnesota’s economic recovery.

The bill also includes $89 million to expand the state’s sex offender facility at Moose Lake.
