Mora Man Charged For Drive By Shooting

AlexanderGrahamA 21-year-old Mora man was arrested and charged this week for drive by shootings in the Hinckley area.

Alexander Graham faces three charges for the incident which allegedly took place on Tuesday.  According to criminal complaint, witnesses saw Graham fire a BB gun while driving.   Witnesses told police Graham hit and broke a window of the Dunn Square Apartments in Hinckley.  He is also accused of shooting at a window of the Hinckley Chiropractic Center.

Police stopped Graham while driving on I-35.  While making the arrest, the complaint states Graham admitted to police that he fired the BB gun.  He went on to say that he received the gun in exchange for a bag of marijuana.

Graham is charged with Reckless Discharge of a Firearm within a Municipality, Drive By Shooting and fourth degree Criminal Damage to Property.  If convicted of all charges, he could serve over eight years in prison.

Conditional bail is set at $4,000.

Graham is due back in court on February 19th.
