Pine City performing "The Exonerated"

Mora High School is heading to the state finals in the One-Act Competition.  Mora’s performance of  “A Forced Marriage” took home first place on Saturday at St. Paul Harding High School.  Pine City’s performance of  “The Exonerate,” which beat Mora the previous week in the sub-sections, tied for second.

“The results of Saturday’s contest just prove how subjective and unpredictable one-act contests can be,” said Pine City  director Bradley Mariska. “And this is not to take anything away from Mora or to speak ill of the judges we had on Saturday – it just shows that there are some really great actors out there and only one school can win.  Mora has a great group of students and an excellent director – they will represent our section well.”
