Funeral Services for Bartelt
Days before Max Bartelt was to earn his black belt in karate, his life was cut short.
Family and friends will say goodbye this weekend to Bartelt, a husband and father of four, who was killed in a car crash Wednesday in North Branch Township. He will be laid to rest Saturday.
Bartelt and Travis Joshua Kamann, 29, of North Branch were killed when their cars collided head-on on County Road 5 near North Branch Township around 5:40 a.m.
Bartelt grew up in Isanti and graduated from Cambridge-Isanti High School in 1993. He went on to attend Hennepin Technical School to earn a degree in Graphic Design. He worked for RTL Construction.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years Tanya and their four children, Zachary, Alexis, Payton, and Colton.
Services begin Friday, February 5th with visitation at the Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Funeral Services are Saturday, February 6th starting with visitation at 1 p.m. The Funeral begins at 2 p.m.
