Two men were killed Wednesday morning, the result of a head-on collision in Isanti County.
The Isanti County Sheriff’s Office identifies the victims as Max James Bartelt, 35, of Cambridge and Travis Joshua Kamann, 29, of North Branch.
According to the Isanti County Sheriff’s Department, the accident occurred around 5:40 a.m on County Road 5 near North Branch Township.
Both men were pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicles suffered “heavy front-end damage,” according to authorities.
The accident is under investigation by the Isanti County Sheriff’s Office and the Minnesota State Patrol Accident Reconstruction Unit.
