Stephen Lang, 30, of Webster was sentenced Tuesday for his role in distributing methamphetamine in Northwest Wisconsin on St. Croix Tribal Lands.

Lang appeared in U.S. District Court in Madison and was sentenced to four years in prison with parole.

Lang becomes the fifteenth person sentenced in the case.  Bruce and Jean Sonnenberg received the largest sentences.  Bruce Sonnenberg will serve 24 years and four months in prison for conspiracy to distribute crack cocaine.  Jean Sonnenberg is guilty of the same charge and will serve 19 years and seven months in prison.

Four more defendants have pleaded guilty and are awaiting sentencing.  Six others were indicted in December and await trial.

The sentencing was part of an investigation which included the Burnett and Polk County Sheriff’s Departments.
