MISS AMERICA
Miss Virginia Caressa Cameron, 22, won the 2010 Miss America title Saturday night. Cameron won a $50,000 scholarship and the crown in Las Vegas.

RIP TORN BUSTED
Rip Torn was arrested Friday night after breaking into a bank in Salisbury, Connecticut. Police responding to an alarm found the Emmy-winning actor intoxicated, on the floor with a loaded revolver. Torn, 78, was charged with carrying a pistol without a permit, carrying a firearm while intoxicated, first-degree burglary, first-degree criminal trespass and third-degree criminal mischief.

AVATAR BRINGS IN BIG BUCKS
“Avatar” was once again the No. 1 movie at the box office this weekend, bringing in $30 million and raising its domestic total to $594.4 million in seven weeks. “Titanic” remains No. 1 for the biggest domestic gross with $600 million, but “Avatar” should pass that in the next few days. It’s brought in over $2 Billion worlwide.
