Pine City is looking to help local military families through an effort called Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Campaign and, next Thursday, a meeting will be held to gauge interest in the program.

The Minnesota National Guard pioneered the program to assist service men and women when they return from duty and helping their families when they are overseas.

The February 4th meeting is scheduled from 11 a.m. until noon at the Pine City Hall Community Room.
