Lunsman Appears in Court; Bail Set

MichaelLunsmanMichael Lunsman made his initial appearance Monday in Burnett County court.  The 42-year-old from Danbury is charged with four crimes including first degree intentional attempted homicide.   In court Monday, bail was set at $50,000.  Part of the conditions of the bail also include absolute sobriety and no contact with the victim Ckyle Gill, Sr.

It’s alleged, Lunsman tried to run Gill over with his truck.  According to the criminal complaint,  Lunsman pinned Gill into a wall at the Last Cast Bar in Danbury with his truck, eventually running him through the bar wall.

Lunsman is also charged with Operating While Intoxicated Causing Injury and Hit-and-Run Injury.

If convicted, he could serve over 60 years in prison.
