Two Car Collision in Kanabec Co.
The Minnesota State Patrol and Kanabec County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two car collision Friday morning in Kanabec County.
According to the State Patrol, Pauline Amundson, 56, of Grasston was traveling eastbound on Highway 23 and Heidi Taylor, 23, of Brook Park was driving westbound on the highway, made a left turn at Mahogany Street and the vehicles collided.
Amundson, who is the Pine County Public Health Preparedness Coordinator, was taken to the Kanabec Hospital in Mora. She was treated and released, and tells Red Rock Radio that doctors do not believe her injuries are serious.
Taylor did not require medical attention.
The accident occurred on Highway 23 and County Road 71 east of Mora around 7:15 a.m.
