“One Gallon Challenge” Update

Thursday, January 21st, 2010 at 9:10 am

The devastation caused by the earthquake in Haiti has left the nation in ruins and families broken.

This week, local residents have the chance to help.

WCMP/WXCX Radio is hosting the “One Gallon Challenge” at Pine City’s boys and girls basketball games on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Gallon milk jugs will be passed around during the games, and the goal is to fill as many jugs as possible with financial donations. Coins, cash, and checks will be accepted. ALL the money raised will be sent to the Twin Cities Red Cross Chapter who will send the funds directly to the victims of the Haiti earthquake.

Please help!

Any questions call WCMP/WXCX at 320-629-7575 or email sam@redrockonair.com

Donations can also be dropped of at the WCMP/WXCX studio at 15429 Pokegama Lake Road, Pine City, MN 55063

All Checks can be made to The American Red Cross. Write “Haiti” in the memo line.
