Governor to Ride Through Pine Co.

pawlenty2Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty will make stops in Pine City and Hinckley in February, says Hinckley-Pine City Flames trail administrator Brad Ammann.

Ammann told the Pine County Board Tuesday that the governor plans on participating in his annual snowmobile ride in the East Central Minnesota cities, starting in Hinckley.

Ammann also told the board Pawlenty is scheduled to appear on Friday, February 12th.  His  stop will also include lunch in Pine City.

County Commissioner Steve Hallan says this is an opportunity for Pine County to show the state what it has to offer.

Red Rock Radio contacted the governor’s office who would not confirm the date and time of Pawlenty’s arrival.
