BRYAN ADAMS HONORED
Bryan Adams will receive a special award at the Junos, Canada’s answer to the Grammys, April 18th. He will be honored for his humanitarian work. Adams says he’s accepting the award “in the hope that it will inspire and encourage others to contribute and/or also give back.”
HAITI TELETHON
George Clooney will stage a telethon with MTV Networks to help the people of Haiti after that devastating earthquake. Friday, January 22. It would be on all MTV Networks, which include VH1, Comedy Central and CMT. ABC, NBC, HBO and CNN also would run the telethon.
ANNE HATHAWAY
Anne Hathaway will receive the Hasty Pudding award at a roast scheduled for January 28th by Hasty Pudding Theatricals at Harvard University.
