Loading ...Serious Injury in Chisago Co. Snowmobile Crash
A 31-year-old Lindstrom man was seriously injured this weekend while snowmobiling in Chisago County. Kurt Clarence Kowarsch remains in the intensive care unit at North Memorial Hospital.
According to the the Chisago County Sheriff’s Office, Kowarsch was riding east of Center City, went off the trail on a curve in the trail, and struck a tree. He was unconscious when medical units arrived.
Kowarsch was transported to the hospital by helicopter.
Center City Fire Department First Responders, Lakes Region EMS, and North Air Care responded to the accident which occcured Saturday around 7:15 p.m.
