Three More Sentenced for Crack Cocaine Distribution
Fourteen people have now been sentenced for their involvement in distributing crack cocaine on St. Croix Tribal lands between December 2007 and June of 2008. Three people have been sentenced over the past two weeks.
On December 29th, Ericka Reynolds, 22, of Shell Lake was sentenced to one year six months in prison. Shaleah Reynolds, 22, of Webster was sentenced to two years behind bars.
On Monday, Michael Hammond, 33, of Hayward was sentenced to 12-years and seven months in prison.
Five additional defendants have pleaded guilty in the case and await sentencing and five other defendants were indicted on December 2nd and await trial.
Burnett and Polk County Sheriff’s Offices assisted in the long-term investigation that resulted in the arrests.
