Carlson Chosen as New Pine Co. Board Chair

DougCarlson1Doug Carlson is the new Chairman of the Pine County Board.  Carlson was unanimously selected by his peers during Tuesday’s board meeting.  Carlson believes that even with many challenges facing the county, the board is going in the right direction.

Carlson, who represents Pine County’s Fifth District, takes over for Ed Montbriand.  District Four commissioner Curt Rossow will serve as the Vice Chairman.

Carlson was the board Vice Chair last year and is a former State Legislator.  He says his time at the Capital will help him better serve in his new position.
