FOOD AS WEAPONS
A 74-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman engaged in a tug-of-war over an empty cart in the parking lot of a supermarket in Aachen, Germany. The pair went at each other in a brawl involving the use of salami and Parmesan cheese as weapons. Police said two of those involved in the fight were treated at a hospital for minor injuries. They did not say whether charges would be filed as a result of the incident. Investigators said tensions were high at the busy supermarket due to a shortage of shopping carts.

REINDEER RENTALS
Comet, Snowflake and Holly are available. The three female reiendeer are available for Nashville party goers to rent. Jill Swenson says the live reindeer add an element of magic to a party. While the reindeer are friendly, they’re not for petting. Swenson tells The Tennessean newspaper they’re “very sweet” but the antlers might poke someone.’

ANOTHER RARE COIN DONATION
A Connecticut Salvation Army chapter got a pleasant surprise when its members were counting change dropped into one of the organization’s holiday donation kettles – a rare 1881 “half eagle” coin! The $5 face value 1881 coin is estimated to be worth $400.

CLEAN BREAK IN
Larry Ticey is in jail. A homeowner called 911 to report a break in the other night at 3:30am. Someone kicked in his door. The resident fled but said the intruder was still there. Sure enough the cops found Larry striped down naked and taking a bath.

WHACK A BANKER
Brits hit hard by the recession are taking to a Whack a Mole spin off. Whack A Banker is proving popular. Inventor Tim Hunkin says the Whack A Banker machine at his pier arcade in Southwold, Suffolk, is proving a great investment.

BARSTOOL SELLS
A motorized barstool has sold on EBAY. The stool, which Kile Wygle, 29, was ordered to sell to help pay the roughly $37,000 he owes in back child support, was first listed December 3rd for 99 cents. It sold for $1,125. Wygle was found guilty of DUI after crashing the 4 wheeled, 5 HP barstool.
