FOOTBALL INTERRUPTED
An Lima, Ohio man was laying on the couch watching football at his fiancee’s house when their was a sudden louud crash of breaking glass. The next thing he knew there was a deeer that had broken in and jumped on the sofa with him. Police officers arrived and chased the deer from behind the couch and out the front door. It was last seen going into nearby woods.

SALVATION ARMY DONATION
The Salvation army got a nice donation in their red kettle in York, PA> A gold coin inside a folded $1 bill was dropped into a collection kettle at a Kmart in south-central Pennsylvania. The South African gold Krugerrand was discovered while the Salvation Army was counting the collections. It’s worth more than $1,000.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS AGAIN
A would be bank robber in Waukesha, Wis. got a surprise when he entered the Guardian Credit Union doors. The first set of doors were open, but the masked would be robber came to the second set of doors which were locked. It was 6 minutes after closing time. Bank employees called police, but the frustrated crook had already taken off by the time officers arrived. Investigators are reviewing the security tape trying to I-D the man.

POT EDUCATION
The Med Grow Cannabis College in Detroit runs six-week courses on producing medicinal marijuana and how to make a profit on the business. They cover the horticultural skills required to grow the plants, as well as recipes for cooking and the legal pitfalls and loopholes.

LESS BURPS
Australian scientists are working on breeding sheep that burp less. The idea is to resuce greenhouse gases (methan) emitted by the sheep. They say burping is a far greater cause of emissions in sheep than flatulence. “Ninety per cent of the methane that sheep and cattle and goats produce comes from the rumen, and that’s burped out.”

LAP DANCE RESEARCH
Here’s another waste of tax payer money. The British government is funding a stud by the the School of Sociology and Social Policy,that is looking for: “Research Officer – The rise and regulation of lap dancing and the place of sexual labour and consumption in the night time economy”. The successful applicant will make about $50,000 in the position.

USELESS TRIVIA

The single deadliest disease event in recorded history was the flu epidemic of 1918, which spread around the world and killed an estimated 40 million people.

The coldest temperature ever recorded on earth was minus 129 degrees Fahrenheit at the Russian base Vostok in Antarctica , the South Pole. The highest temperature ever recorded was 136 degrees Fahrenheit in Lybia in 1922.

Cockroaches are found everywhere in the world except at the North and South Poles. They can live on almost anything, including soap and glue and they can hold their breath under water for up to 40 minutes.

The fastest land animal is the cheetah, which has been clocked at a top speed of 70 miles per hour. But the fastest of all animals is the peregrine falcon, which has been recoded traveling at speeds of more than 200 mph as it dives to catch prey.
