A sixteen year old Dresser girl was killed Friday in a single accident after she was ejected from a vehicle.

Alora Breault was the passenger in the 2000 Chevrolet blazer driven by a Eric Johnson, 17, of Waupun who swerved to avoid a collision on US Highway 8 in Balsam Lake Township.

According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, the Johnson approached a vehicle stopped in traffic waiting to turn left, swerved to avoid hitting the vehicle, lost control and overturned traveling into the north ditch.

Breault died at the scene.

Johnson and passenger Michael Breault, 10, were transported to the St. Croix Medical Center for non-serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.
