Looking to Seal the Deal

Shoppers mad a made dash to local stores Friday morning to try to get the best deals on “Black Friday.” The day after Thanksgiving is known as the busiest shopping day of the year, and Leon Rachey says its been no different at the Pine City Walmart.

Rachey is one of the many employees who tried to keep order during the shopping rush. He says most shoppers are coming in looking for sales on electronics, like laptops and video games.
Debbie from Grantsburg was shopping for toys on Black Friday morning. This is the second time she woke up early to take part in the Black Friday deals, but says it will also be the last.

Shoppers also packed the aisles across the street at Pamida. Manager Kim Pierson says while there isn’t the early heavy traffic at his store, the day is still one of the craziest of the year.
