Woman Charged for Touching Girls in Hotel Hot Tub
Charges were filed Monday in Pine County court against a 60-year-old Le Center woman accused of inappropriately touching girls at a Hinckley hotel.
Maxine Hansen faces one count of second degree criminal sexual conduct for an incident that allegedly occurred on Friday, November 20th at the Grand Hinckley Inn Hotel.
According to the criminal complaint, several girls were at the hotel hot tub for a birthday party. Two of the girls, ages nine and ten, claim Hansen began getting close and asking them questions. It’s alleged that she then began touching them, and when the girls attempted to push away, she put her hands on their chest and in their swimsuits, touching their inner thighs and private parts.
The complaint states, Hansen told police she was in the hot tub, but was asking the girls questions because she was concerned for their safety. She denied the touching accusations.
If convicted, Hansen could spend up to 25-years in prison and pay a $35,000 fine.
Bail is set at $10,000. Hansen is to have no contact with minors unless with the supervision of an adult. She is due back in court on December 3rd.
