Pine City Receives Positive Audit
The Pine City School Board listened to a presentation Monday regarding the 2008-2009 audit. Robert Althoff of Althoff and Nordquist, who conducted the audit says there were no major findings.
The elementary school added five new class rooms, a media center, gym, technology rooms, and special education rooms. The elementary project costs $7-million. he High School spent $6 million on the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) unit, new lights and new tiles.
Althoff says, long-term, he thinks the the district is in good shape.
